We keep coming back to one question: how do people actually live? Not how they shop, but how they move through their days. The rituals of getting ready in the morning, the table they gather around, the things they reach for when they want to feel at home. So instead of sorting our shelves by product type, we are organizing them around the moments and rhythms of a life well-lived. It's a small shift, but it changes something about the experience. You're not looking for a category, you're recognizing a part of your own life. Because shopping at Hive was never meant to be just a transaction. It's an invitation to be a little more intentional about the things you surround yourself with, the people you give to, and the habits you carry forward every day.
The Refillery

One of the things we're most excited about in this new chapter is something we haven't done before: a refillery, built into the heart of the shop.
The idea is simple - bring your container, fill it up, skip the plastic - but what draws us to it is something more than practicality. There's something in that act that feels like a small declaration: “I'm paying attention. I'm trying.” We want to be the kind of place that makes “trying” feel less daunting and a lot more inviting.
We're in the process of carefully selecting what we'll carry - dish soap, hand soap, laundry wash, body care, and more - from brands we've vetted and feel good about. We're approaching this the same way we approach everything at Hive: slowly, thoughtfully, and with an openness to learning as we go. We don't expect to have it all figured out on day one, and we're genuinely excited to build it alongside our community. And if there's something you wish you could refill, tell us before we even open!
